I attempted to do it fairly cheaply with secondhand decking, retaining some shrubs and lower down (and improved)the garden that was already there.
The pergola timber was new from diy retailer, we stuffed borders with perennials and annuals and a few dwarf fruit timber.
Total the fee was about £1500 for the timber, trellis, fixings, window packing containers, cement, sand, gravel, edging, planting and some additional slabs to enhance the ‘imply’ patio. Furnishings was additional after all.
