Challenge EverGreen, in partnership with the Metropolis of Detroit, the Gilbert Household Basis and the Neighborhood Basis for Southeast Michigan, proudly publicizes the completion of a transformative revitalization of Milan Park in Detroit’s Evergreen Outer Drive neighborhood. The official ribbon reducing happened on April 3.

The reimagined park, positioned close to Ralph W. Emerson Elementary-Center Faculty, has been a central gathering area for neighborhood households for many years. Due to a collaborative, community-driven planning effort, Milan Park now affords a protected, accessible, and environmentally impactful area for residents of all ages.

Key enhancements embrace:

  • A second playground and renovated pure grass soccer area
