an image from the seedling mattress. a blurry one at that. taken with my regular cellphone hand. it has been a curious and curioser summer time. most seedlings are likely to bloom sooner than the established crops. not this one. virtually every part is completed blooming daylily sensible. there are about 5 different daylilies blooming. and they’re on their final blooms. and i suppose this seedling is on its first and final bloom. there aren’t any different blooms on that scape. evidently this bloom is a shock. a contented one at that. the cross is Oatmeal Cream x Stella’s Ruffled Fingers. this bloom could end opening tomorrow. or i could have to attend till subsequent summer time to see one other. each of its mother and father rebloom. so there’s a good likelihood this seedling may do the identical as soon as it matures. first a picture of the seedling after which the 2 mother and father…
